Is Philadelphia LGBTQ Friendly?

According to recent studies, Philadelphia ranks among the top 10 (6th) LGBTQ Friendly cities in the United States. The city has a long history of acceptance and tolerance.

Philadelphia has played and still plays an imperative role in the founding and persistence of LGBT Civil rights movements. It hosted the country’s 1st LGBT Annual reminder day in 1965.
